WHAT is a VA?
I thought I would go back to the basics for this blog. What is a VA (Virtual Assistant) – it is a very short and simple question but oh my is the answer simple but also long in my opinion.
So a Virtual Assistant is someone that works virtually – you don’t need to have them in your office or workshop. You don’t need to sort out their IT equipment before they start.
I describe myself as a Virtual Assistant who helps organise business chaos by providing key support.
WHAT KEY SERVICES DO I PROVIDE?
My support ranges from email management, customer and client on boarding processes, credit control, project management, event management… the list goes on! I have a link at the bottom of the post to my website so you can check out a way longer list of services that I can provide along with my trusted team.
The great thing about a Virtual Assistant is that the job is so varied. I also choose who I work with!! Like any job I have met some people that I would not work with, but I am very lucky that all my clients have been fantastic so far!
ARE YOU MY FUTURE CLIENT?
My clients are small business owners and entrepreneurs who are passionate about the services or products they provide.
You are someone that has been in business for a while or is just starting out – you don’t enjoy the paperwork side of things or need a bit of a customer process refresh for example.
Only this weekend I am heading to London so support a client at an all day event – how exciting is that!! I am actually looking forward to getting out of the house for the whole day and commuting to the ‘big smoke’ with my takeaway coffee and compulsory pastry.
Don’t get me wrong, not all days are ‘perfect’! As a freelancer, I have to get out there and find clients through the powers of social media, networking and even this blog hopefully.
But the feeling has to be mutual, we both need to “want” to work together! As people say people do business with people.
WHY SHOULD YOU WORK WITH ME?
- There are no recruitment costs – you know where I am so just get in touch
- I get work done when you need it (I am one of those organised deadline focused people!)
- You only pay for the time I spend on your business (all time is tracked and invoiced accordingly)
- You don’t pay for any holidays, sickness, training, national insurance or pension contributions (oh yes!)
- There is no need to micro-manage – The only thing you need to worry about is what you will do with your new free time!
